Started in 2019 by a former marine mechanic who got tired of watching pressure-washing "specials" strip paint and etch driveways across the Charleston peninsula. We built Tidewater around the opposite idea: the right pressure for the right surface, every time.
Most driveway-flyer companies run one PSI setting for every job because it's faster. That's how you end up with etched concrete, stripped paint, or mulch beds blown out. We carry both a hot-water pressure rig for concrete and a dedicated softwash system for siding and roofs, and we switch between them mid-job.
Bleach alone kills algae on the surface but leaves the roots — it's back in six weeks. We treat the root system, not just the stain.
Vinyl and wood siding get soft washed at 300–500 PSI. Full pressure on siding is how water gets forced behind panels.
Every plant and garden bed near the work area gets pre-soaked and tarped before any chemical goes down.
